Cover the bottom of your stool by placing your fabric face down on a flat surface, spraying adhesive on the backside. And place the plate wrap cut into the same size on top of the adhesive. Spray glue on top of plate wrap that has turned up and center the bottom of your stool on top. Pull the fabric over the sides of the stool, one by one, and fasten the ends of fabric and wicker on the inside of the Ottoman with a staple gun. As you round the corners of your stool. Fold and put the fabric and place mat as if you were wrapping a gift. If the corners are too thick for your taste, cut away batting in this section and just fold the fabric. Fold the fabric around to the back and fasten it with the fork tape. Attach the covered cardboard to the underside of your stool top with the covered side facing out. Secure cardboard with spray glue or staples. This gives the Ottoman a nice padded look when you open it for storage.
