Small Futons – A futon is a sofa that turns into a bed. It is a current style of a sofa bed and is often found in bedrooms, teenage sleeping rooms, home offices that also serve as rooms and small urban spaces. Futons attract young people because they are cheap and take up less space than a traditional bed. This dual-purpose equipment saves space when square footage is limited. The typical futon consists of three parts: the frame, mattress, and cover.
The frame, or base, is constructed of wood, metal or a combination of the two. The mattress, usually made of cotton or polyester, foam, and springs, is tilted to convert from a sofa to a bed. The cover provides color and style to the futon and protects the mattress from stains, crumbs, and spills. The small futons give the small living spaces and guest rooms a place to sleep and a room with great versatility. Sometimes the padding of a futon mattress is not thick enough to meet your needs.
Other times, the filling becomes worn, becomes thin and needs replacement. Replacing the mattress padding of a futon turns out to be an easy task that does not take much time. Cover approximately 4 inches (10 cm) of cotton wadding on the inside of the open small futons cover. Fill with more wadding if you want a thicker and firmer mattress.
